Food Chain Magnate Review
Food Chain may not look like much but dont let it deceive you.
Food chain magnate review. And by that I dont mean that its components are poor but that the priorities behind them are different. Thats the goal make the most money there are no alternate objectives no prizes for having the best food or the most restaurants or the most brand recognition. The only thing that matters is money.
Food Chain Magnate. The game is an interactive cutthroat business simulation that has people starting fast food restaurants. One of my favorite games is Through the Ages.
The first one we broke out was the 1950s-themed Food Chain Magnate a fun little business-oriented game where you battle as competing food chains in a single city. Maybe the benefit of being a small in-house publisher is the ability to take risks like this. We have not reviewed this game yet but we can tell you that it is a well constructed engine builder that is on point with regards to its theme.
We broke in a couple of new games a week or so ago out in Northwest Chicago. Food Chain Magnate hatte Cron schon in unserer Bestenliste 2016 als persönlicher Tipp untergebracht. Food Chain Magnate is one of my favorite board games.
At its core Food Chain Magnate is sort of a deckbuilder. There will be cutthroat competition from start to finish in every game you play. Some players can deal with the ruthlessness but others are paralyzed by the depth of its options and cannot get a sense for Food Chain.
Calculating whether a household that wants burgers lemonade and beer will go to a nearby restaurant or a cheaper one a little farther off is simple enough. Food Chain Magnate is an economic game where the player with the most money wins. As the game is so unforgiving a player that grasps the strategies early will run roughshod over their competition and this may not sit well in a two-player game.
